The New Ascend by Dentrix is Built for Unlocking Growth
We are excited to announce the new Ascend.
The new Ascend is different. Our velocity is faster. We stand with innovation. At the same time, we continue to celebrate and stand behind the people who keep dental practices running. Our new name, look, and feel all come from one simple idea: great technology should fade into the background so dentistry (and the people behind dentistry) can take center stage.
Elevating the work that matters
For the last couple of years, we've been quietly strengthening Ascend's foundation. Revenue cycle: claims, eligibility, and billing. Patient experience: online scheduling, forms, and campaigns. We focused there first, so everything built on top will compound. Ascend Pro practices get paid 26% faster than the industry average and collect 27% more from patients, and net production is growing 6.9% a year on average across 8,000+ live Ascend locations.
Now it's time for our brand and our technology to align. Ascend runs on an agentic, all-in-one platform built on trust and security. It doesn't just store data in the cloud; it acts on it, taking on repeat data entry and manual follow-ups, so teams can focus on patients. And it connects to the most open ecosystem out there.
Unlocking growth so you can focus on dentistry
Your front desk isn't fighting claim denials, your hygienists aren't glued to a screen, and your doctors can focus on patients instead of technology. When the work flows without interruption, growth follows. You'll see it in our new logo, the Ascend Arrow. Shaped from the “A” in Ascend, it stands for progress and momentum.
I see that progress and momentum mirrored in practices serving communities around the nation:
- In Chicago, Dr. Naana Mensah-Coleman, of Haven Dental Studio, runs a clinic that serves urban patients just south of downtown. Her team uses Ascend to streamline scheduling, forms, imaging, and billing, so she spends more of her day caring for the patients in front of her.
- Dr. Allison Bartley, of South Barrington Dental Care, bought her clinic a few months ago, while pregnant, and she needed the business up and running quickly. Today, she is using Ascend to build a strong foundation for her new practice while also nurturing her growing family.
- Dr. Kwane Watson operates mobile clinics, through Kare Mobile, serving patients in six states. His clinics primarily treat underserved populations and bring dental care directly to communities that often lack access to it. He uses Ascend to keep all aspects of his business organized across every stop.
What's next
The new name and identity are rolling out now. Regardless of practice size, Ascend is built to meet needs today and take practices into the future. We’re excited that you’re on this journey with us.
